Lenten Dinner and Study/Service

Each Wednesday during Lent (except Holy Week), you are invited to share a light dinner from 6:00 - 6:30 p.m., and continue our spiritual journey to Easter with a study/service beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Girl Scout Sunday

On Sunday, March 14th, the Girl Scouts will be celebrating Scout Sunday, by having a brunch after the Church service. The brunch is free, and is their way of saying, "Thank you for letting us meet at your church."

They will also be selling Girl Scout cookies ($3 a box)!

Help Lauren Fill Up Her Suitcase!

We have one more week to fill up Lauren's Suitcase!!

Lauren Goodfleisch, along with 30 other students from Liberty Christian Academy, will be leaving March 24^th for Costa Rica to work on a short term mission project.  While in Costa Rica, the students will be partnering with a local ministry to meet needs of a local church family, holding community bible study for children in the community, assisting with work projects in the area, and delivering school supplies to schools.

Each student is asked to fill one suitcase with school and hygiene supplies.  Help Lauren fill up her suitcase.  Below is a list of items that can be put in the suitcase. 

Personal Hygiene:  Shampoo/Conditioner;  Toothbrushes/Paste;  Deodorant/Soap;  Lotion          

School Supplies:   Notebook paper;  Pencils/Pens/Erasers;  Crayons;  Rulers/Scissors;  File Folders          

Medical Supplies:  Antibiotic ointment;  Band-aids, Gauze, Tape;  Teething rings;  Thermometer;  Aspirin;  Cold medicine         

Baby Needs:  Wet wipes;  Powdered formula;  Disposable diapers;  Diaper rash ointment

Misc. Items:  Clothing;  Stationary;  Stickers;  Jump ropes;  Frisbees;  Balls

Please bring in your items next Sunday, March 14th.

Ladies Aide Candy Sale

The ladies will sell their delicious homemade candy on Palm Sunday, March 28th, following our 10 a.m. service.

From the sanctuary, follow the crowd to the first classroom (across from the lounge), where the ladies will be ready to help you with your candy selection.

As part of our Lenten Presentations Series, come here Bob Esden this Wednesday as he shares stories and pics from his recent trip to the Holy Land!

Dinner will be served at 6:00pm, and this special service begins at approximately 6:30pm.

Youth Event

Join us at 7:00pm on Sunday, March 21, for a night at the movies. 

The feature to be shown in Cheeseman Hall is Jesus Christ Superstar.  Popcorn and beverages will be served.

Prayer Vigil:     9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

The prayer vigil will be in the chapel.  You are welcome to come any time between 9am -3pm, and stay as long as you like!

Adult Sunday School is Back in Session

Teachers, Carol and Mary Martha, are ready and waiting for students to attend their Sunday School Class at 9 a.m.

Stop in the lounge, pick up a student book, and become part of a study that will strengthen your faith and gtive you confidence to share that faith with others.

Women's Bible Study

Come join the women of the church on Thursdays, from 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m., for bible study.  Participants cover the Old and New Testaments together.  Classes are held at a parishoner's home.  For more information, please call Martha Hays, 868-0496.

Children's Sunday School

Children's Sunday School will be held during the 10:00 worship service for all children in grades K-8. 

Children should go to the sanctuary for the 10:00 worship service, and they will later be excused to go the sunday school classes, located in the basement of the church, with the sunday school teachers.
