Be Careful of What You Say!

Sometimes we say things that we later wished we had said differently, or not at all!

How would you rate the words you have spoken today?  Were they all kind and helpful, or were some harsh and destructive?  Think back to a time when the harsh words of someone wounded you. Remember how hurt you felt from hearing those words?

Is there someone who has suffered because of what you said to them? Are you willing to make it right?  If so, contact that person soon, and ask for forgiveness.

Looking for Coffee Volunteers

We're looking for volunteers to host the morning blend.  You only need to make coffee, put out the donut holes, and clean-up.  Everything is provided!  If you would like to help, please see Sandy H.

Stephen Ministry

The Stephen Ministry here at East Columbus Christian Church brings care to all in need.  Stephen Ministers are trained to be compassionate listeners to people experiencing special needs such as:

Separation or Divorce

Terminal Illness

Loss of a Loved One

Job Crisis

Financial Stress

Loneliness or Depression

Hospitalization

Spiritual Crisis

And much more!

Women's Bible Study

Come join the women of the church on Thursdays, from 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m., for bible study.  Participants cover the Old and New Testaments together. 

All women are welcome!

Sunday Bible Study

Come to our Sunday Adult Study!  The pastor will be leading studies from The Letter to the Romans, but he will also be scheduling others to help lead these half-hour sessions.  Come early, bring coffee, and discover a little more depth in your study of Romans.

Sunday Morning Blend

Coffee, donuts, friendship, conversation, smiles, laughter, reflection - - it's all there at Sunday Morning Blend, held after each worhsip service.

Come and join in the fun! 

Children's Sunday School

Calling all kids in grades K-8!  Come to our Children's Sunday School, held during our 10:00 worship service!

Come to the 10:00 worship service first; you will soon be excused to go to the sunday school classes, with the sunday school teachers.

Prayer Shawl Ministry 

The Prayer Shawl Ministry has changed its meeting night to Thursday.  On the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 7 p.m, you will find Joan and her group of ladies in the lounge.

Through the generous donations of others, there is extra yarn if you need it.
